So after reading his thread a few posts down I contacted CJ (TacoClimber) for some info on the Laughlin/Bullhead city area trails before heading out that way for New Years. CJ went the extra mile and put together a Sleeping Princess run on Saturday 12/29.

There were 3 of us:
- CJ (Tacoclimber) - Nice Silver Tacoma
- Sonny & his buddy George - Silver 2007 FJ
- Me (Rob) & my daughter Meganne (10) - White 93 4Runner

This is a great trail, a variety of different obstacles, beautiful scenery, great views, and lots of climbing. CJ, Sonny, and George are are the best, I can't thank them enough for sharing their Saturday and their trail with us.

Thank You CJ!

Cj seems to be a great guy from everything i've ever gotten from him or about him. I am hoping to get out to that area this year and spend some time with him and wheeling in the area!! (Also a trip up to Utah to see Mr and Mrs Fuster)

Haha, that's awesome. My niece in MN sent us her flat stanley awhile back, he got to see a bunch of cool stuff, but he got sent home right before a death valley trip.

Man, that was a great ride. I thoroughly enjoyed the run, Sonny's always fun to wheel with, and Rob, you and Meganne are wonderful people. You couldn't ask for a more fun group of people to play with.

Sleeping Princess is one of those "got it all" type trials. I love it, and Marc, you gotta come back soon so we can finish what we started at Thanksgiving!

I'll get my pics up here shortly.

Ok, get ready for my usual barrage of pics... :hillbill:

Here he comes...

Blinded by the light...

Smile, Sonny!

And away he goes...

This particular section was a lot more rutted and loose than the last time I was out here. It was much more interesting. Sonny was still at street pressure and gave it a few tries but eventually aired down and nailed it.

Rob and I cruised up it... Neener neener, Sonny!

Here's Rob, appreciating his 37" MTR's...

Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of the fun rock crawling section. These next few are of Rob coming up a surprisingly sketchy section. I think they turned out pretty sweet.

CJ, you got some great pictures. Advantage of being last is that everyone is waiting around taking pictures of you.

I have a video of Sonny's climb that came out pretty good, I'm going to try to post it but not quite sure how.

See if this link works.

If you guys ever do a run on Saturday let me know. I wouldn't mind swinging up there.

That's usually when we go. Once in a while if Sonny has a Thursday off we'll hit the trails then, because that's my day off, but usually it's Saturdays. We did Sleeping Princess start to finish in less than 6 hours. And that's taking the time to do a little "trail recovery" and sightseeing.

As you can see in the pics, it's a trail that kinda has it all. I knew Rob would dig it, and I know Marc will really like the rest of it.

So... My Southwest UY brothers and sisters, any interest in a "BullheadFest" sometime in April?

Maybe I should post a feeler thread about it?
