I have put at least 750 miles on the truck with the brake upgrade. My impressions? It is a good setup. Not a lot of initial bite, but what do you expect for a street pad. However, under moderate to heavy braking the pads really grab hold. I have always felt that the stock brakes were fine in the stopping department. Where they lack is that they heat up and fade. I have yet to experience that with this combo. This is definitely a step up in all areas for braking.
Second, Synthetic Winchline and Hawse Fairlead.

Also picked up some Staun Deflators. Dont know how i ever went without them. They are awesome. A little pricey, but well worth it.

Third, Safari Snorkle. I didnt use the tacoma intake tube either. A few bucks at Home Depot and i was good to go. Some 3"abs pipe, a 90deg elbow and a female/female coupler. Took a little work but its perfect. I didnt put the liner back in either. The Sport package flares make that liner such a pain in the ass. Screw it. Dosent really protect anything now anyways.

Up next, rear bumper with swingout carrier. Started ordering parts last night. It will be done for the Death Vally trip. Also have in cab winch controls to install. Gotta do some fab work on the center console though. I have run out of spots to put switches in the truck. Haha. Gotta get cleaver with it now. I also have a set of new tires sitting in the garage. Gonna let the ones on the truck wear just a little more though. I am also going to balance them with dynabeads. Stuck with the same tires. Same size. Cooper Discoverer STT's. Werd.
