I'm looking to get a 1" body lift install soon and thought about replacing the oem rubber bushings with a set of poly ones while I was at it. However, I've heard mix reviews on the poly mounts.
Some owners who have installed a set of the poly bushings complain that b/c the mounts are so stiff, a lot of vibration can now be felt while driving (so much so, that one owner removed his altogether). Others who have installed them said there was no change in ride quality.
I have also read that b/c these poly bushings are so stiff, they do great off road, keeping the body nice and tight to the frame. However, I do a good bit of hwy driving, so any comfort in my current ride I can keep is a plus. :hillbill:
