I have had a sort of mouse-like squeak that has been driving me crazy for the last few months. Normally I would just turn my radio up loud so I couldn't hear it but now it's whenever I get in or out of my truck. I'm thinking it could be something on the front suspension that is making it squeak. Any ideas of what it might be??? It only really happens I'm driving on the road and my front end bounces. I haven't gotten down to check it out yet to see at least what area it is, but I want to know if this is happening to anyone else.

check swaybar bushings first... i bet thats it.

you can test it by removing your swaybar and doing what you normally do.

so just remove the bushings and bounce the front end around a bit? if that is it, can I keep the bushings off until i get new ones?

You have to remove the entire swaybar, not just the bushings, but yes, you can run it with the swaybar off. You will notice more body roll when turning, though.

^^^ yup.

remove the whole thing... if the squeak goes away, either reinstall till you order the bushings with the link i posted, or wait and install :)

Thanks, I'm going to wait for a warm weekend to do it. I'll keep updating.
