I saw this article on msn and thought it was a pretty interesting read. I'd heard of them being stolen off of the newer 4runners before, but according to this toyota's in general seem to be a big target.

An easy fix would be to get a full belly skid that covers the cat so the theft would just move on to the next vehicle. Considering that our vehicles are lifted it's an easier target so it's cheap insurance for the skid plus a big benefit for offroading :)

But back to the topic at hand, how jacked up in the head do you need to be to go under a car to jack cats? now that's pretty low...

When it comes to an addict, there is no task low enough to get the drugs to make them high enough...

i say when you find them, you cut off both their hands, they will never ever steal a cat ever again, feline or otherwise.

I was surprised they brought up the point of "high clearance vehicles" being the easiest targets...Pretty much fits the description of anyone on this board exactly. And it's only a 45 second job too...Sounds like a good enough reason to get a full skid for me :hillbill:

Yep,
They got mine last week.

I was over at Pop's house on Saturday and noticed it was gone.

people make me wonder sometimes. Good thing i wasn't there or happened by during it. Definitely would not be typing this today.

I'd say consider a large battery bank and a couple connections.
