Should I replace my OEM radiator with another one? Has anyone replaced it with another
brand/aluminum/more rows? Looking for suggestions from those that have been down this road
before. The 95 Runner needs a new one and I'm looking for some ideas.

Thanks in advance. Oh yeah - price them out for me if you could.

How long have you had it? Satisfied?

I was just on their website and got a price of 149.86 with FREE shipping, lifetime warranty,
and $5 online discount. Not bad at all........

I picked up a Modine radiator from the local warehouse. IIRC, it was $89 for my 2nd gen. It's been nearly 4 years, and no problems yet.

I got mine from Radiator.com as well. The stock radiator is 3 rows. If you have manual trans, you might get one with the extra niples for the tans oil. Don't worry about it. I don't think anyone makes one just for manual trans.

So besides custom, does anyone run more rows? What about different placement (if possible)? I had kinda toyed around with the idea of a top-mounted radiator but figured it would be too big of a pain for such small amounts of gain, it wouldn't be worth it.

So anyone know of any 5 rows out there and if it works better? I don't know about ya'll but I don't like rebuilding my engine or buying a new one, will this extend the life?

Did you have cooling problems, before your current rad took a pooh ? If you didn't then why upgrade ? You can have any radiator, you want, made custom. I think you should go stock, they are much cheaper and will mount without modification. IMHO
