i have an 84 4x4 with an lc header.i just bought a weber 38 outlaw, and just put it on. everything seems to be working fine but i didn't really notice a big differance between the stock and the weber. i didn't really adjust the weber so i thought maybe that it could be just out of tune. and do i have to do anything with my timing at all. any help or advice would be great.
thanks

I'have never owned ran a webber myself, but a friend has one on an old Nissan prerunner and he is always having to ajust it. Also try advancing your ignition timing, that always helps.

I can't help you with the logistics, but I can tell you that proper carb tuning makes a world of difference. It was night and day on my buddies 2F. He also went from about 10 mpg to averaging 16.
