Last year in Melbourne, Toyota showed off a TRD Hilux concept truck. At the time, we commented that the supercharged show truck looked pretty production ready, and thet Aussies would likely see the "concept" part of the name dropped in the future. Well, the future is now -- or February, at least. That's when Toyota Australia pulls the wraps off the production TRD Hilux, which gets the bodywork, wheels, and graphics you see here. Power numbers haven't been released yet for its blown 4.0L V6, but you can expect something in the general neighborhood of 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft underhood, along with upgraded brakes and suspension. The Outback beckons...

Dang I like that a lot...not so sure about the roll bar in the back, but other than that I think it looks good.

That is a sweet truck, of course we will never see that here in the US.

Ugh. I may be the only one who dislikes this truck...but its very Subaru-esque in the front valence and grill, very reminiscent of the new WRX's that I really dislike.

That's a nice looking truck, that looks far better then our current tacomas I think.

yeah that lower valence does look WRX'esque. looks lame on a truck, imho. but hey, most of us would take that off anyways w/ a replacement bumper
