License Plate tub/surround color?

Anyone know of a color that's a close match or exact match of that license plate tub on most 3rd gen rear gate? Its a charcoal gray or graphite color. I searched on couple of forums but didn't find any details.

Anthracite Metallic at least from 97 its a direct match.

Cool thanks Avy. I'll check that color out, trying to figure out which color to paint my front shrockworks bumper that will be arriving soon. Its going to be either satin black or that tub color.

the paint on mine is coming off, i was going to either paint it satin black or color match it to the truck.

You're planning on repainting it soon? When you say its coming off, like from stuff hitting it on the freeway or its chipping off because the paint didn't stick well?

just keep it black to match your rear. nothings worse than mismatching bumpers....

semi gloss black is what i'd paint mine. for comparison's sake, TJMs bumpers are painted in semi gloss black.

Sounds like a plan! Yeah, I wasn't planning on leaving them mismatched. I would paint the rear bumper the same color I choose for the front. I think it'll be less work to just paint it black, same as the rear bumper.

my above comment reffered to my license plate surround, not my bumper, i love my bumper as silver. last time i waxed the car i had more grey on the cloth than on the tub. it needs to be repainted.

as for bumpers, i agree, make sure front and rear match, whatever that involves.

Yeah see I am lucky, my license plate already matches the truck, and my bumpers are black the way I like so. :D
But Painting it to black would look good.
