Date: Early to mid September (2 days wheeling/2 days driving back)

Currently, I'm looking at the Dark Canyon/Peavine Corridor area around Blanding that contains easy to difficult sections/trails. Ending around the Mokuee Dugway area (maybe, still researching). So I'm throwing this out there to see if anyone would be interested in coming.

This is one of the better writeups I've seen so far

That looks pretty cool. I'm planning to do a southern Utah trip this year too. We may have to team up. Keep me updated.

Labor day weekend is the plan right now. Taking about 3 days off from work not including labor day. So Thrusday-Tuesday. Monday would be travel time back home, with Tuesday unpacking and relaxing.

If you hit Beef basin, elephant hill is a nice exit from that area.

Those are two of the area's I'm looking at. Just trying to see if I can plan it right so the last night would be camping on the Mokuee Dugway over looking Monument Valley and the Goosenecks.

Seriously, considering heading to Ouray, Colorado instead and I'm going to try and extend it out to at least 2 1/2 to 3 days of wheeling.

This will be over labor day weekend
