I over extended my rear axle and in the process ripped the E-locker wires out of the plug. I am thinking I can pull the plug off, remove the rubber grommets, and then take the pins out of the connector. Once the pins are out, I should be able to solder the wires to them and install the pins back into the connector. Would that work?

i think you could get that to work.
not sure how the elocker harness works on the tacos with leaves, but on the 4runner the wire runs along the upper left link. i would try to maybe extend it and run it along the brake line or something.

x2 brake line would be a safe bet, the soldering also sounds like a good idea, but make sure you seal it afterwards, it'd suck to get water in the connector

Great idea... I would have forgot about the sealing issue..

Yeah, I don't see why that shouldn't work. It might be a pain to get the pins out though. x2 on sealing it.

I am planning on adding a spring to my e-locker wire harness...just like I did to my front brake lines
