well, its been a while since I've talked to you guys. I've been doing the dirtbike thing but still take my tacoma offroad now and then. Last weekend I went to superstition and rode the bike with some other guys. One of the guys I was with went down hard and broke a collar bone about 10 miles west of superstition. I went back got my truck and set out to get him. I didn't get very far before bottoming out and unearthing a very large bolder. Bent frame rail and broken drive shaft. I think my truck is totaled. :( I'll toss some pics up tomorrow. Not sure if a damaged frame rail can be fixed? I've got the insurance guy coming later this week to asses the damage.

That's what happens when you have a lead foot. Hope your buddy was OK. YOu missed a killer Super 10 this year.

Dude!

That blows. How did you end up getting your buddy with the broken collar bone out?

there was another guy with me back at superstition and three other riders with the downed rider back over near split mountain road. He ended up taking his truck to get the downed rider out of the wash. shitty situation for all of us! I sure hope the insurance handles it, I've got USAA.

Insurance took good care of me. I go 19,700 for my truck and went and bought an 02 taco with V6 trd, sun roof, supercharger, new BFG ATs,... for 12,400$. WHOOOHOOO.

Mikey, let me know if you are gonna go camping with the new toys.
