my stupid p.o.s. kenmore fridge died for the fourth time oh wait, maybe that's the fifth time hard to rememeber .... i went away to hawaii for ten days and came home to a stench and a nice warm fridge.... so after calling the service department at sears again i told them this is a lemon fridge and they need to replace it. After some haggling with someone from Pakistan, I was offered the chance to spend $150 bucks on a warranty and they will probably be able to give me a $500 dollar credit towards the purchase of a new kenmore appliance. Keep in mind that this fridge is 1 year and 5 months old and has been serviced 4 times where it has completely died and we have had to replace all the food. we told them to go f@#k themselves and we will see them in court.... so now i'm out the cost of the fridge and lots of food... so the moral of the story is dont ever buy a kenmore appliance(don't ask me about my kenmore washer that i had to replace, same scenario)and don't ever buy anything from sears...!!!! of course this is just my 2 cents so if you wanna get burned feel free to buy anything you like

the other thing you could do is haul that fridge over to the sear's parking lot with a big sign that says "Inquire about my Kenmore Fridge---Broke 5 times over the last 18 months!" and answer any questions potential customers might have

hate to hear that. definitely a lemon. we've had good luck with kenmore - so far.
was it a low-end model? we've always bought mid-upper end stuff from them and haven't had any issues. we did have a cheap whirlpool fridge go out after 13 months, and it was a relay on the compressor. that was horrible to clean up. at least that one was sold with the house... :D

You'd be shocked how well that will work towards getting you a new fridge. I think you just got a lemon because I have 2 Kenmore fridges going (1 that's 7 yrs old and another that is 2 yrs old) and both are working great. I don't know what to say on the washer, I have a GE washer / dryer combo and use Whirlpool (Inglis) for all my other appliances (dishwasher, oven, etc).
Can you post the model numbers of the fridge and washer that crapped out?

well if i had a day that i could spare i would sit in fornt of sears with that fridge.... it was a kenmore elite top o the line fridge.... i just spoke with marcp today and he's on his econd fridge in the last year and he's in the same boat as me ... as far as getting another kenmore or anything else form sears F%#k EM i would rather spend the dough with their competitors and spread the word like this then ever even talk to those fawkers again

...And so the dinosaurs that couldn't evolve, went extinct. May they rest in peace with Montgomery Ward and Enron....

I hate Sears too.Although my wife did make me buy a fridge from them in 2004. Luckily no problems in 3 and a half years.

 I have Sears Transfer case gears and a Montomery Ward adapter to go with my Enron Fuel cell. Does anyone know if Home Depot carries a Twin Stick. I hear Kragen/Schuks carries name brand gear sets. I personnaly just use ice from the local Glacier and stack it in my cave next to my fresh kill. I have my wench beat my clothes on a rock next to the river.
