Does anyone make a tubular bullbar/center bar for the 3rd gen 4Runners (96-98) similar to the ARB version for the rav4?

I dont want a full grille guard nor do I want to go with a full front bumper change with the winch mounts

you want structural, or just for looks?
If you want just looks check into Westin or Smittybuilt.

More for looks and for mounting lights. I don't come across many opportunities for rock crawling or any other extreme offroading. I am really just trying to make the truck capable of better than stock offroad but nothing serious

I looked on both those sites and don't see any products for the 3rd gen 4Runner

that might make you less capable... that a 2in lower point on the front of your car that usual... if you offroad you'll break it. thats why they built it for rav4's lol but to each his own.

This is what I did for my 4runner. Thats a Westin light bar for the Tacomas but it works on our 4runners (see my signature for 4runner details). If you were interested, I might be willing to sell it. At the time, I didn't have money for a full bumper and I got a good deal on this from a friend. Otherwise, its just another idea to help with the light option. The brushguards are worthless along with this in terms of actual use besides the lights, but it looks decent, better than a brushguard. If I get hit with this, at least it'll only damage the bumper and not the hood, lights, grill, etc.

Glad you like it, sorry that top picture is a bit dark but yeah. A good option although, brand new, they are rather expensive.
