I went to their show last night in SLC...AMAZING. Sorry no pictures, but these guys put so much energy into their music, it was incredible. I wasn't sure how it would be seeing them, as their music is entirely instrumental, but I was blown away. You should definitely check them out.

Oh and on a sidenote, their music is almost the entire soundtrack for the movie Friday Night Lights.

Yeah I've been listening to them for little over a year. If you haven't made it out to any of their shows, you should really try. It's well worth it, tickets were only 16 bucks total :D

honestly, though i like EITS and other slow/mellow bands, i'm not much for those type of shows. some of my friends saw eits last weekend in san diego. and 16 bucks total sure isn't bad, considering how ticketmaster usually rapes you.

when it comes to live performances, i have much more fun hittin the pit, singing along, etc. ha, which probably explains why i've gone to like 7 punk shows this month

I know what you mean. I love going into the pit and singing a long, it was just a nice change for once. :)

They're technically labeled as "post-rock", although most of the established post-rock bands would say that they're too mainstream for that genre. I'd recommend The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place or How Strange Innocence, because those are my two favorites haha
