Well i have no idea how long ive been driving with the bar disconnected, i checked the driveshaft ends, and the other 4 links to make sure they didnt bust or anything of that sort.
It makes sense that the truck has been doing a little more shimming around turns then usual (i thought shocks)
The dealer has the bolt and nut ordered but said it would be wednesday if their warehouse even had em.
Does anybody know what size and thread it is? I could just ride my bike to Ace to pick it up instead of waiting.

ok well bolt size is M12, is 70 mm long to the end of the threads, 75 to the end of the bolt (has the little end with no threads), so a 70mm long bolt would do, you could probably fit 1/2 inch bolt, but a 7/16 would be a better fit.
btw, 70mm is about 2.75 inches.

problem solved, got a bolt that was 3" long with washer and nut, tightened it as tight as possible, layed the truck into a corner and burned out the right tire, and it didnt budge.

For clarity, was the bolt gone, in part or whole?
Do you have any panhard adjustment for the lift?
This doesn't strike me as normal or particularly safe.

bolt was completely gone, no nut or bolt. and the panhard is now almost parallel for some reason the rear springs are completely sagged, if you remember the truck back in march of 07 it was like 2.5" taller then it is now.

so the rod didn't fall off? without the bolt? and you didn't hear it rattle?

Something doesn't sound right there (panhard totally level with lifted springs).
Can you post a pic so we can see what you are talking about.
Were the springs sagging before you reattached the panhard bar or just after?

Weird, I had the same thing happen to me last year.
My bolt was completely gone... It must have worked its way loose. Since then I have been torquing them down as much as possible with the aide of some blue thread locker.
I have been using a standard sized bolt I had in my garage, its been fine since, but, I may go get a grade-8 metric bolt since you've mentioned the size, I have no excuses now... ;)

bar didnt fall off as it was connected to the axle. as far as rattles? my truck rattles other crap.
ill get pictures, it lined right up with the hole so easy. still had to hammer the bolt in but just tapped it

What size standard bolt did you end up fitting in there?

7/16ths x 3"
had a head size of 5/8ths but the nut was a little bit bigger, maybe a 16mm.

Good to know. Now I know what size heims to buy next month when I make my new panhard.
Kinda odd that you had to tap the 7/16 bolt in with a hammer. Its about 1mm smaller than the stock bolt.

wasnt the size of the rod, was a little uneven with the holes of the mount thats why it had to be tapped a little in.
