well all, I think its about time I hang up my wheeling keys, its been a GREAT ride, but I think Im going to get back into the bike racing gig. I still "have the need for speed"
My longtime friend Jeff Heishman, that owns Liberty Cycle Center, is going to close shop in Kansas City, and move it out here to Littleton, (his wife is from Littleton) Ive known Jeff for about 25 years, bought my 2nd bike from Bill (his dad) the 3rd, 4th and 5th bike from Jeff.
I will be his 400, 500 and 600cc rider, thats HUGE, that means I get the bikes, all the parts and equipment and a mech given to me, all I got to do is race, wooohoooo, Ive always wanted to get back into bikes, but the cost of them now, is crazy, and a set of race tires are like $300-400 a set, and they are only good for ONE race.
Ill be going back to KC on or around the 23rd, to go over some details, and yea, visit the kiddos, lol we will go to a taylor to get me fitted for a new (vanson) suite, get my helment (shoei) boots (alpinstar) gloves, etc.
The best part of this, I dont have to buy anything, no trailer, no tow rig, Im going to see if he will get me a new Tundra, hes got an 07, with the LCC logo, so Ill probley get that old one,lol and he will get the 08. oh well.
Anyways, you all are family, we will always be friends, and we will still hang out etc. but I just wont have time to wheel, as we will be traveling alot, and yes.... Ill get you pitpasses, you all are part of the pit team
No I probley wont be selling my rig, dont ask, lol both Tyler and Trever want it, so it will be going to them, since Jeff will probley give me a LCC truck, lol
