Whats up people. I just purchased my first Toyota, a 99' SR5 4 runner, and I absolutely love it! I am a former Land Rover enthusiast/owner and I have been thinking to myself "What the hell was I thinking!?" since I got my 4 runner. Anyhow, I am in need for a few parts, hoping I could find someplace online that I can find good, used parts. Any help will be great!
Do you guys think 99' was a good year for the 4 runners?
Since I was reading that everyone is a pic whore, I attached a few pics of my new ride.

Check craigslist. I check the Atlanta one everyday and there's always something new. I'm not sure if UY has a marketplace, since I only joined earlier tonight, but if you go to www.yotatech.com they have a marketplace forum with everything you could want.

BTW, your 4Runner looks really clean! Looks good man! How many miles? And if you don't mind me asking how much did you get it for?

Thanks,
The mileage is 103,000. She is a one owner and I paid $7,900. Any input? Did I get ripped?

Welcome to UY. Check out our market place as we have a number of members parting their vehicles so you may get some great deals. Other places of interest would be local junk yards.
Good luck

Wow, 103000 on a 99 not too bad, I say 79 is pretty good. I paid $6300 for my 95 but she had 79,000 on her when I picked her up. I think you did well! Hope it is problem free!

Welcome!
99 is generally considered to be the best year of the 3rd gens. it had the new grill, head and tail lamps, new bumper (which i hate, but most love for some reason...) offered the fancy awd/4wd system with a rear locker, and had all the updated interior pieces. it sat 1 inch higher than 98 and prior and 2 inches higher than 2000+.
check the market place here on this site as lance has mentioned. any particular parts you are looking for?
btw, you got a very good deal. i paid 8200 1.667 years ago for my 98 with 136k on the clock in a mint- condition.

Were you looking for specific parts?
Ground clearance is not greater, just taller stance.
