First off, I'm new to this site. I am a member on yotatech as well but was unsuccessful in any answers to my post. So I thought I'd try here. Also the layout of this site better...anyway I am installing some Doug Thorley headers and it says to torque the bolts/nuts back to spec. Does anyone know how much to torque them? I'm hoping really tight by hand will suffice 'cause a torque wrench is going to be a pain to fit in some places...any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hand tightening them should suffice. Not sure if you can really get any reasonably sized torque wrench in that small space anyhow.

good luck!

When I changed the HG on my truck I used a 3/8" torque wrench (because I bought one for the job) with a deep socket to do my exhaust manifold nuts. I will say that the rears were definately a pain on the driver's side. The proper torque on them is 30 ft-lbs if you want to do it per the FSM.

Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, the drivers side is by far the worst part of the install. Talk about getting creative to tighten some of those nuts...and to loosen them. Too much s*** over there...
