watch out guys and gals, the robots are taking over the world! Ok not that this wasn't true already but check out the latest invention from Germany.

Video (http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/201211.html?playlist=featured)

The video shows a restaurant in Germany where everything is automated except for the chefs. You basically order what you want to eat/drink via touch screen and that info then gets processed to the chefs. This isn't anything new and out of the ordinary but the next part is.

There are no waiters and waitresses! An automated "auto-trailer" delivers your meal(s) right to you. pretty amazing stuff. Watch the video and get blasted away.

This totally puts a whole different game to "fast food"! Let the fast food wars begin! Will we see something like this here in the states anytime soon? probably not but it does look pretty nifty.

saw a news story about something like this used in mcdonalds to order food. i think its a great idea, and should be applied to the drive thru. it eliminates the two most common factors in screwed up orders: the speaker and microphone from the 12th century connecting you and the second reason for incorrect orders: that moron with a headset working the drivethru. now just mechanize the chefs and we will finally have at least correct food. it will still taste like crap, but it will be the correct crap!

any one remember watching those kitchen of the future things they had on in the 60's? ive come across a few on the internets and on old vhs recorded tv, we are finally getting there!

Anyone ever seen that old classic... Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=thJOfavJLeA <---- hahaha i found it.

That set up is like the breakfast machine on heavy dose of methamphetamines.

I want to know how long it takes all that metal material and fab work to pay itself off...

And yes fuster, robots do get head aches. Neither of my two pcs at home are running right now. They need some circuitry aspirin, aka, the bfh....
