Well - its official - my GSXR is now sold... no more fun on 2 wheels (or one at times)
But the good news - this abundance of extra money is now going towards the build up of my truck. Unfortunately, the build up has to start with maintenance - brakes (tundra upgrade, timing belt, fuel filter) and new tires. I am still debating on if it should go with a 265/75/26 MT or go straight to a 285/75/16 as the Sonoran Steel 7.2 is going to have to wait now that the government is dipping into my pocket once again after telling me I have to pay more taxes this yr. I know I will have stuff issues with the 285 - but will it be ok for light offroading until the lift is in? Or will I be loosing a fair amount in steering radius as well
I have settled on the Toyo Open Country MT to give you an idea of the tire.
I did my plugs about 2 weeks ago and have almost DOUBLED my milage - 9.05 to 17 mpg. The extra savings in fuel between not having the bike, not paying insurance on the bike and now better truck mileage will bring the kit to me that much faster!
