that's an odd combo.. do you have the front CO's down to 1" or so of lift??

the rear is gonna float compared to the front too...

anyway, it looks good :)

That's what I thought as well.
Very intersesting combo.
I am sure the front will flex very well for IFS with those coilovers and UCAs

The suspension was set up by ICON themselves. The 4runner handles amazing. Its made for the desert...not rockcrawling

so ICON sold you pp springs for desert running??

i really dont mean to put any of it down, i am just surprised. the pp springs (i had them at one point) are soft and don't give much in the way of actual lift or flex... so im surprised. theyre more a "this will give you a better ride and a slightly better stance" type of coil.

at least in my experience. good luck man :)

I think your mistaken...Performance Product springs are stiff with bilstein HDs the are a little more stiff...And that was a reccomendation from ICON....and I tested them and they handled amazingly...sokaed everything u and worked with the font perfectly....they gave me 1.5 of lift which was exactly what I wanted...I could not be happier with the set up

im glad you are happy w it, but bilstein hd's arent really a stiff shock at all, and those coils are very soft compared to the likes of OME's and others.

like i said, i had that exact rear set up in the past, swapped it out for ome's eventually and that was MUCH more controlled.

as long as youre happy w it, thats all that matters. :)

Bilsteins HDs are a very stiff shock...I would never buy OME I have seen runners with them and the control is horrible...the coils are much stiffer then OME....I dont like OME stuff ran the shocks and they were awful

To each his own.
I guessd with desert running you would want something softer to take the rolls better.

I can speak for any of the companies, I will be running a toyota spring setup, I have only read reviews on the others.

have you taken both and compressed them by pushing them into the ground?

see which one rebounds with no control and which one slowly rebounds....

i wheeled with bil hd's in the rear for about 2 years and my rear was always all over the place... once i put the ome's in that pretty much completely stopped.

but again this is rock crawling, not desert stuff like you said.
