Police 4runner

Wasn't sure which section to post these. I was @ Dockweiller (by LAX airport) beach with a group of Friends Saturday and saw them driving by. I took pictures but my Friends did not let me hear the end of it. Even the cops were making jokes, like "do you want me to lay on the hood" :shake:

Pretty cool beach, we had a bonfire and watched all the airplanes close up taking off. It was like 80 deg at the beach as opposed to 98 deg inland.

yup, seen them at venice beach too. the lifeguards have nissan trucks. also, the el monte police drive sequioas as their big, specialty vehicle. longo toyota is in el monte, so i imagine they had somethign to do with that

I didn't know El Monte police use Sequoias. Yeah I used to frequent Longo when I was at Cal Poly back in the days.

Looks like a base model 99.
It does but the "4wd" was on the left side on the tailgate. I'll try to post a close up of that if I can figure out how to download from my camera phone. Normally the words "4wd" is on the right side of the license plate tub. Its definitely *HOT* in LA.

Oh, no doubt in my mind that it is indeed 4WD.
I am just talking other things that are usually offered on the SR5s like fender flares and running boards, alloy wheels, etc.
