I am looking to order gears sometime in the next month or 2. I am looking for 4.88 gears (going to be running 35's) and would prefer to buy a good set of gears (motive or similar). I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to where to get these for a good price. I would need the 7.5 IFS Reverse cut and an 8" V6 w/ E-locker. Going in a 99 4Runner and I will be adding a front ARB at the same time.

Thanks for any suggestions

I got Yukons and they have not broken. So I guess they are a good gear.

Everyone on the internet raves about Precision Gear.

maybe i spoke to soon, i just had my pinion gear break in half on me. i went offroading ONCE since i had it installed went REAL slow everywhere just testing the new locker out and since then its been highway duty and getting me to and from work/school. granted i believe the guy installed it wrong because how else would a pinion break in less that 5k miles? i dont rag on my truck THAT bad, the stock one lasted 130k miles before it failed due to the diff chucking the fill plug on the interstate.

I've been asking around and have heard pretty high reviews about Precision gears. The guy who is going to do the install was recommended for Toyota gear installs and is nearby, so I think it'll be setup well.
