I am still looking for a company that makes a rear offroad bumper with or without a tire carrier. I tried CBI fabrication today and they are all booked and pretty expensive. I was wondering if anyone knew of anybody who did th fabrication of rear bumpers. I cant snd my car anywhere unless they are in the New England area as it is my daily driver. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

He already tried, but unless I can have the vehicle here to fit, I'd rather not build one sight unseen. I've seen way too many fitment problems to take the gamble. Now if I were to design a strong adjustable mounting system...... just don't expect it anytime soon.

Yea i hear ya. I got rear ended in a parking lot but it was kind of a hit and run so i figured instead of replacing it with another plastic one lets do a steel offroad one but cant find one lol.

I agree with BruceTS. I can attest to the necessity of having your vehicle at the shop to ensure proper fit. That is the same thing that my fabricator had told me and required me to do. Unfortunately, not every 4runner is the same. I would say just bite the bullet and take it somewhere and get it done right the first time. I have no regrets whatsoever, and I would do it again without hesitation.

In my somewhat small community I deal with a number of qualified fabricators that build anything and everything. The only catch is that you have to tell them exactly what you want in terms of design and strength. My suggestion is to keep your bumper local; with some searching you can find a good fabricator.

Yea i looked locally and theres nothing. If you look at what CBI Fabrication or BruceTS did is what i exactly want either or a combo. i am just trying to find someone who can do it for me for a good price without having to ship my car to them lol.
