Santa Cruz Mountains, Martin Fire

This time a little closer to home, some of my favorite private wheel spots are burning. Around 1000 acres, 0% control, 1400 people displaced, including some co-workers. Its gonna be a bad season.

Its probably some ass throwing a cig out the window. Lots of dry fields up there. Anyway look forward to severe fire restrictions on your summer wheeling in Cali.

you know, the appropriate punishment for firestarters should be dropping them in the middle of what they created :)

sorry to hear about the fires and displacement. we just recently had a much smaller one not too far from our place. our friends from the sushi bar had to evacuate, but they stuck it out. i think thats dumb, but anyways, they were ok

Just to update this:

Approx 600 acres have burned.
CDF and Bonny Doon Volunteer Fire have secured the perimeter.
The fire started at Moon Rocks.
My view from 4000 feet away was better. :tongueout:
