This guy used a method I would have never thought of--spray paint.

Looks sharp, if you ask me.

just on a serious note if you want white walls, or white letters to look good....
Try Comet. The abrasive bathroom cleaner, I have used it for years and have never seen any detriment to the tires, but it does take a little scrubbing but always works.

Black wall tires just don't look right on luxury cars of this caliber.

Great corax, now you've done it...got me all excited.
I took these two pics last year in Sointula, British Columbia:

I missed a photo-op of the owner unlocking it when he returned to his car. Take a look at pinstripe and body moulding alignment. He really had to lift hard on the door to get it to open!
Anyways, fine looking car indeed.

Maybe you should send that guy () this thread. He might not even know his whitewalls are all dirty.

I had April snap this shot as we passed this dude somewhere in CO. I was mad she didn't get more pics, but she was afraid what would happen if he saw her. YOu should have seen the trailer he was towing, it was overflowing just as much as the car. No padlocks, but his whitewalls are dirty, seems like he would be the perfect candidate to spraypaint his tires. :hillbill: Edit: Actually it looks like he doesn't have whitewalls, but he does have white spray paint. Maybe he should make them whitewalls.

Canadians?
Anyways, thats friggin sweet. I'm not sure what gets me the most. The seemingly homemade trailer, number of spare tires, suitcase, fullsize chair or the amount of twine holding everything on/together.

 If it wasn't such a narrow two lane canyon road and we weren't in a hurry (not to mention all the big rigs trying to get around him). I would have pulled over and waited for him to get more pics. The one pic just doesn't do it justice.
I think the extra spare tires are actually his version of "gear baskets". If you look closely, each one is packed full of smaller items.
Step 1. Strap down tires
Step 2. Cram them full of all the small crap that is a pain to tie down
Step 3. Strap down crap on top of said tires to keep the little loose stuff from flying out. (patio chairs, suitcases, backpacks, etc... are all great examples)
Whallah! Instant comparmentalized gear baskets. :hillbill:
****Free packing tip****
If you run out of room and need a few extra cubic feet, just roll down the windows halfway and let stuff hang halfway out. The tight packing will insure that it does not fall out, while the items themselves will act like a window keeping rain and airflow outside.

that's great . . . is the 2x4 under the trunk lid keeping it from caving in or is it just for tie down attachment?
