Thanks Gents.

For the first time in a long time I have heard my accent. I thought I sounded Canadian there.

I was in second place, I believe it was technically 3 points behind the winner.

It is a good time, but now I am seriously back to thesis work as my only focus.

Coolness. You prolly get pegged from the northeast or just west of the Great Lakes area. Good blurb for the womens, too. :)

Congrats, I used to watch those competitions on TV (along with the Highland Games), I was always impressed by how easy you made it look (I'd need chain mail hip waders, not just socks)

so . . . is this the next saw for you?

Congratulations! That is cool.

Kind of expected you to say "I can still count to 21".

I will pass on the codpiece, thanks.

I have never run a hot saw but that is sort of the next thing. It is sort of funny, I have axes that can only race because the edge is so sharp if it hits a knot it is done. I have saws that can only race in one species of wood and soon I anticipate needing a chainsaw that is only built for cutting 19" rounds in competition. I already have two for work.

It has been positive. Closing in on 100 pounds lost since high school.

Wow, you have come a long way from the days at Slee. If you ever get time away from school and are down in Denver let Mike and I know. I'd like to have a Beer with you, Hannah and Crissy would like to see you also.

Lumberjacks kick ass!

Where do you get those socks from?

Not sure how effective it is for that, I have a couple I am fond of. There are several really petite, cute women we compete against and some beasts.

Thanks Brian. Ran into Mike the other day, sounds like this are going well.

I do have to say racial profiling did work in this situation!

Congrats Cheese!

Very refreshing to hear a sportsman that can put together a proper sentence in an interview that is both insightful and humorous.

If you want to see a proper sentence, keep and eye out for the ESPN U coverage. They told me funny things would get air time so I was completely out of control. Everyone loved it and they said it would get air time. The post production guys told me they were in stitches.

Yeah, the racial profiling made me laugh.
