I built this thing around this time 06 if i remember correctly. Unfortunetly it has almost been completely cannabalized and these are the only two pictures i have of the beast. Half of the frame still exists if i remember correctly, axles are in pieces... (i was far to lazy to take it apart. reinforced freaking everywhere.)

The truck is a solid axle suspended via a 3-link front and rear, all wheel steer. The blue parts up top act as levers for the springs which run "parallel" to the frame rails(a concept i ripped off of brickshelf.com and modified to my liking/application...) Pretty extreme articulation around 6 and 7 inches. Mind you the axles are about this wide. This was the third or fourth generation solid axle chassis i have built. By far it is my most complicated model and the one i am most proud of. (i build something, take it apart and then rebuild it, bigger, badder and stronger... =D )

I will be starting to rebuild the thing sooner than later. I may not be keeping the solid axles, leaning towards building a 6x6 TATRA replica.

Anyhoo, i figured a few of you guys might get a kick out of it!

Cheers!

Your legos look a lot different than the ones I had as a kid.

Yeah I haven't had time to fool around.
That is awesome and great for you to share.
I was thinking three link from, 4 link rear.
I see it in my head I just don't have the time or enough lego parts to make it lol!
