24hrs of lemons

OK, so after talking about this in chat, We decided to see if there's enough interest in any part of the country to field a team. If you aren't familiar, this is a race that takes place a few times a year in different states around the country. Rules are simple, have less than $500 total in your race car, whoever goes the farthest in 24hrs wins. Safety equipment is excluded from the $500 limit. To get an idea what it's like,

Personally i'd love to be involved in a team and help out. Actually, I'd sell my 86 2wd reg cap PU for $400 to someone who wanted to start a team. Pretty sure there aren't enough folks near me to form a team but here's the place to shout out if you think this looks like fun. Be sure to say where you are.
