it was a pretty good one....just got back from lunch, sat down on the office chair and see the ceiling panels take a jump and all of a sudden all the co-workers were dashing out the doors :shake:

yea, that 7.x that we had out in the desert about 8 years ago, now that was a fun one (at least where i live). would have slept through the entire thing if it wasnt for my mom waking me up.
northridge was a bad one. big bear/landers was worse (for us out in the eastern inland empire).
id still pick earthquakes over tornadoes any day!

lol Man I missed all the fun! I didn't feel a thing out here in the high desert. I thought I heard a rumble, but just dismissed it as a truck going by.

Caltech now downgraded it to a 5.4, I felt it in Downtown LA. My parents didn't see any damage at their place in Chino Hills. Friends felt it @ Camp Pendleton ( down near San Diego) and Camarillo (North of LA by Ventura).

Yeah, my wife said she felt it at work in Camarillo. I'm disappointed though, 2 years in Cali and I miss the first earthquake that I could have actually felt . . . too busy bombing across the desert from Vegas at 90mph on I-15

it takes at least a 5.X for me to even notice.
working in cublicles it was funny to see all the 'prarie doggin' when it hit. lotsa non-cali people here, for some it was there first.
i grabbed the structural frame (3rd floor) and pretended i was shaking it :screwy:

There was an earthquake near Mammoth Lakes when I was there about a month ago and I slept right through it. I was pissed. I've experienced many tornadoes, floods, and recently a hurricane but never an earthquake.
