I will post there, but I always get the same wierdo. He comes to my house and just wont stop talking or leave :screwy: I gave him a 5mge motor and 5 speed and I regreted it.

I keep getting inquiries about a set of 5MGE motor mount brackets that I posted over 2 years ago (lets you use the stock 22RE rubber mounts)

SupraCharged ! Nice Site. Wish it was around when I did my 5MGE swap and my buddies 7MGE swap. Anyway I posted there too ! Thanks, I really dont want to dump them but I need storage for the winter.

Supracharged is kinda slow these days, but after my research there (and collecting everything I needed before hand) the whole swap took 2 days in my friends gravel driveway with only hand tools, a floor jack and an engine hoist. Everything bolt on, no oil pan mods with IFS.

Besides my 4.3, the 5MGE and 7MGE are the easiest swaps I have ever done. Hardest probably 350 TPI in 77 Jag. All in all I loved the 83 Supra when it had its own motor, fun car.

Oh I just found a MAF for the 83 Supra thats free too.

I think that VAFM can be used as a cheap upgrade for the 22RE . . .
