Quite right Katy, 'Things You Find In A Tub Drain That Require Not Only Emptying The Trap But Also Pulling Apart Half The Plumbing Down There Which Ain't Easy To Get To And Have The 60 Year Old Stuff Literally Crumble So It All Has To Be Replaced With New (not chrome) Pipes' is correct!

surf4runner
05-31-2007, 04:39 PM

So far the worst things kids have left in the wash:

permanent marker (which got on everything)
a 2 month old rotten egg (kid you not),
crayons,
wads of toilet paper,

lipstick

How bout y'all?

Cebby
05-31-2007, 05:10 PM
Too bad kids aren't the worst offenders - how about assorted pens, a cell phone and a paycheck. No, pockets usually aren't checked at our house apparently...

Euphorickaty80
06-01-2007, 04:23 AM
Umm.....J likes to leave all kinds of things in his pockets....worse so far hab was probably the chocolate covered caramel candies....there was caramel on everything....and no it wasnt the kids that left it......it was J... :spank: :chair: :argue:

:spit:

habanero
06-01-2007, 01:33 PM
Very bad, J! Man, if I found that in the wash I'd be kicking myself....

...must check pockets more often...food may be inside. Chocolate food! Even maybe paychecks! We have a rule, what's left in the clothes belongs to the mama. The egg, that I could've lived without. She thought she could hatch it and never bothered to ask if it were so. T'would have been funny were she not already of middle school age. :shake:

No, pumpkin pies are the best. :)

habanero
10-03-2007, 11:29 AM
Oh, but I've run out of pumpkins, only 3 in the garden this year made enough goop for 6 pies. I'm already figuring out how to talk the kid into drawing a face onto his Halloween pumpkin instead of carving it, so I can cook up more pies. We always get the smaller sugar pumpkins anyways.
