I dont know if anyone else is excited but I am fully backing Clemson for my 22 year of living and will continue regardless of what happens, we are preseason 9th this year (i dont put much stock into preseason rankings though)
make your darkhorse and conference picks
Pac 10 - USC , darkhorse - Arizona State
Big East - South Florida, darkhorse - rutgers (WVU may have talent but everytime i see a new coach come in i see a huge fall
ACC - Clemson, darkhorse - north carolina
SEC - Georgia, darkhorse - Auburn
Big Ten - OSU, darkhorse - Wisconsin , Michigan will make huge waves
Big 12 - Missouri, darkhorse - Colorado (yea yea but i think they may do something
WAC - fresno state
Mountain West - BYU or Utah
Conf USA - ECU
Mid America - Central Michigan
sunbelt - lousiana monroe, campus is pretty nice too.
ill make bowl predictions later.

Go MSU Bobcats!!!!
Oh, wait, that's right, no one cares about them.
I would like to see the Huskies or, sadly, even the Cougs to have a good season this year. Though it's not looking incredibly promising.

The real USC are the trojans! Yes the cock fans do live in the city of hope! Perenial Preseason Champs!!
Tell your guys to stop busting into fridges for drinks!! :shake:
Clemson Grad - '92 & '95 (for masters). Very excited for college football. Just now they are showing the Clemson victory over South Carolina on ESPNU! Gearing up for Saturday's matchup against Alabama.
Cadence - 1,2,3,4 - 1,2,3,4

I just realized that GT gameday traffic is a hell of a lot worse then clemson and we have 40k more at the stadium.

im freakin loving it, South Carolina cant even put up a score on North Carolina state, which has a crappy defense in the first place,
Wake forest is up 17-0 to baylor, Georgia Tech is up 27-0 on Jax state, and 28-0 for miami over charleston southern

I think it is the city and lack of control of the traffic flow.

Yeah, I can't tell if it's South Carolina's poor O-line that is making NC State look good or if they actually have a good defensive front. Had to put the kids to bed, so missed some of the first half. 3 ints and a low snap. Can't believe they both suck that bad.
Great!!

the irish will be a much better team 2-4 years down the road. so will my wolverines. yeah yeah, last year was terrible, but dont count out the wolverines in 2-3 years. its gonna be interesting to see what a new coach and a totally new style of big 10 football will look like if rodriguez is successsful

Bob, we had Rich Rod as the coordinator at clemson when bowden started coaching, his offense works immediately, so i would actually see a 10-2 season for michigan as probable.
seriously!

no doubt he is a good coach with a proven record, but like ND, the most of the current players were selected to run the old big 10 style of football, not the spread offense. new guys like sam mcguffie are more suited to play RR's style of football. too bad michigan lost out on getting terrel pryor to ohio state.

well funny or not, my father just organized a group of 12 people ready to put down 6 or so million or how ever much money it is to buy out Tommy bowdens contract if he cannot win the ACC this year or at least 11 games, may let it slide with 10 but after last nights showing, its obvious he sucks at motivating and getting players ready for physical teams and big games.

freakin' A. USC wipes out Ohio State with little effort, but Oregon State? Ok, those Roger's brothers were amazing, but was more amazing was Oregon State manhandled USC's defensive line. And when SC stacked the line, those Rogers brothers STILL managed to sneak their way through for some yards.
Horray for short people! :D

he made holes no doubt, but either USC's defense wasnt trying or the guy could squat 600 pounds on his legs alone and drive the pile, he moved people too.. thats what i dont get.
they couldnt bring him down, hes a mere 190 pounds
