Claire and I got back from Dah U.P. yesterday from two amazing days of wheeling.
We drove to Marquette and camped over night. We had a gnarly rain/thunder/lighting storm around 4AM. It was cool.
The group wheeled from Marquette to L'Anse. The rain turned some of the trails into a bit of a tobagan run. We actually got some tailgate damage when the rear slammed down coming around a sharp right turn with a deep rut half way through.
We then drove to a camping spot way on the north end of the U.P. near coper harbor. The trail there was fun. The views were incredible.
The next day we wheeled south and ended up at Gay Beach for some sand wheeling. From there Claire and I left the group and spent the night in Houghton.
Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Northern Explorer and UP Cruiser did an incredible job leading 20 trucks on the trip. Those guys deserve much thanks.
