Thoughts, comments?
I don't know about the rest of you, but this day is still a very emotional one for me. It's a very sad day that stirs up quite a few emotions.

I walked into work today more than a little shocked to see two buildings on fire again, and I about hit the floor, then I realized they were replaying the newscast from 2001. They replayed it start to finish.
Even without the rebroadcast this day brings up such emotions and sadness its almost unbearable to think of all we have lost. But it is equally important to remember those who have helped us personally, and our country as a whole to persevere through events such as these.

very emotional for me too as a local radio station played the radio newscasts from NY. i had to turn it off. made me sad and angry all the same time.
anyone who says terrorism does not exist and that is "political fear mongering" really needs to visit ground zero, watch some beheading videos, and read some of the filth coming out of those crazy islamist websites. the threat is real.

God bless our lost brothers and sisters and keep them in His care. May their families be granted peace and understanding.
I hear people sayin'. We Don't need this war.
I say there's some things worth fightin' for.
What about our freedom, and this piece of ground?
We didn't get to keep 'em by backin' down.
They say we don't realize the mess we're gettin' in
Before you start preachin' let me ask you this my friend.
Chorus
Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten, when those towers fell
We had neighbors still inside goin through a livin hell
And you say we shouldn't worry bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
You took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbin for you and me
It'll just breed anger is what the experts say
If it was up to me I'd show it everyday
Some say this country just out lookin' for a fight
Well after 9/11 man I'd have to say right.
Chorus
Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell
We had neighbors still inside goin' through a livin' hell
And we vow to get the ones behind Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I've been there with the soldiers
Who've gone away to war
you can bet they remember just what they're fightin' for
Have you forgotten
All the people killed
Yes some went down like heroes
In that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten
About our Pentagon
All the loved ones that we lost
And those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?!

Might I suggest we start by ferociously castrating them with two bricks....?

I was a little mad at myself for not realizing it was the 7 year anniversary of 9/11. I was listening to the radio at about 5 in the morning while i was driving. It brought back a flood of thoughts and emotions. I remember sitting and watching the 2nd plane hit the tower and yelling NO NO NO as i saw it fly into the building. Each generation seems to have an event, Pearl Harbor, Kennedy Assassination, and we have 9/11. I fear that we, society as a whole, have set the memory aside and have overlooked what the event really meant then and what it means to us now.
