thought it was a different place to mount it and im super happy with it, i work in a machine shop so i made the peice at the base so everything just screws together, its much stronger than the stock crap and i didnt want to drill a hole in the ARB but most of all its different...ENJOY

i dont listen to the radio , but if i wanted to i could hook it up to that antenna i guess

as far as the radio, I listen to Sirius, so my antenna is on the roof, lol

Looks great Trevor, I just made a mount and worked it up on my 1st gen to put mine in the same place!!

Very impressive. I'd like to see what it looks like as well. What material did you use?

Nice :thumbup: I did that to my del Sol years ago, that was just a matter of removing the old antenna, tapping the hole to 3/8", a 2" piece of all-thread, the CB coupling and antenna
