So, im sick of drum brakes, looking at doing my own swap. one major consideration for me is the parking brake.

what are you guys using for a parking brake on your tcase who are running rear disks. i can find the 4cylinder first/second gen ones. but nothing for 3rd

I use an allpro transfer case disk with a custom caliper. Its all modified cause of my VSS and setup.

would take some work to adapt it to the location of the 4Runner parking brake handle.

4runnerchevy, you think i can run the disk and caliper from allpro with a custom mount?

no worries with the ebrake handle, thats the least of my concerns.

One thing you could do is use rear calipers for your disc conversion, that already have parking brake capability.

I have a t-case mounted e-brake from Sky Manufacturing on my truck.

I didn't have an e/parking break for almost 5 years in my old truck. It never effected me. Now that I have a 5 speed it is necessary but with an auto I didn't care.

A lot of chevy guys use the caddy calipers that have an e brake but I think you'd have to have someone make you a caliper mounting bracket to hold one onto a Toyota axle. The Mercedes (mogs) sometimes use 2 calipers per wheel. One for braking and one for parking, they have the room though.

You can use your stock handle. Just buy the kit and mod away. I did not buy the kit, just the disk. I am using the same caliper (complements of my industry), just a completely custom mounts. All-Pro will sell you any part of the kit. I also have a rear disk conversion with olds calipers, that have an e-brake.

Well, then the all-pro brake was never offered on a Toyota, except aftermarket. I think the farm caliper doesn't meet the requirment.

All kidding aside, don't put chevy stuff in it. The all-pro setup works pretty well.

This is the bracket that I use on mine. The pictured caliper has e-brake.
I know its not all toyota, but it sure works great.
