Cheapest I saw was in Nebraska, next to a refinery, at right around $2.35 for 89 octane w/ 10% Ethanol.
Being unemployed, I have a bit of time on my hands. I was thinking about heading out to Rausch Creek (http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org) one of these days.

$2.30 around here. funny how we rejoice at gas under $3. theyre just priming us...pretty soon it hits $5 and we rejoice at it dipping below $4 (where we currently cry). im still going to drive as conservatively as i did at $4.50

Lemme see...
Medford, Oregon Costco was $3.29 while we were up there, but the line was an hour long.
We were just there last weekend visiting family and it was down to $2.91 and there were over 100 vehicles in line :spit: :spit: :spit:
It was $2.79 west of Portland Oregon when we left
Here it just dropped below $4 ($3.79) :tapedshut:

The price of gas never eally kept me from going anywhere or having fun. I just got back from Oregon and before I left I paid $2.89/ gal and coming home tonight it was $2.73/ gal. I paid $2.75/ gal in Klamath Falls, OR yesterday.

Just noticed gas for $2.19 a few days ago. Never thought I'd see gas near $2.00/gallon again.

$2.19! Wow, that's pretty cheap. Maybe the dream of me buying an old big block beater car is closer than I thought.

Am I the only one who looks at the oil prices dropping like a rock as a bad thing? Not for our wallets right now, but let's think of a few things....
1. Speculators; falling oil prices like this mean that they think oil is a very bad thing to be in. Translation: Either there's going to be a lot more oil, or we are going to use less... (what do you think is more likely? and use less also includes not being able to afford it)
2. Countries who depend on oil for income. Desperate times call for desperate measures, I don't exactly trust some major oil producing contries out there to sit idly by as they go into the red.
But, what does it matter! We've got cheap oil, and access to delicious beer! Honestly, I say this just because no one has mentioned it yet. Doesn't mean we should freak out, just some food for thought!
