Got this in my email this morning.....story goes that the driver was going about 140+ when it struck a deer on the autobahn. :headscratch: Hope I don't get in trouble for posting this :hillbill:

I bet that thing would starting smelling quick. It was about a month ago or so that I saw that one. I think a link to the story is on pirate.

That is the luckiest SOB on the planet right now.

If that deer could go that far into the engine bay, THROUGH THE GRILL, imagine what it would have done if it had gone through the windshield!!!

Just might be tainted with a little ethyl glycol though. A slightly different flavor I suppose.

wow...it went through the radiator and AC condenser too! I'd to be the person that has to clean that.

Maybe going 140 is safer then going 90 when hitting a deer. They have a tendency to jump up at the last moment, at 140 it might not have time to do so.

Good enough theory to raise the speed limits imo ;)
