Hey will the mounting on this N-Fab Bumper be the same for the 4Runner? Do things like this carry over from the Tacoma to the 4Runner?????

The bumper mount location is the same but the bolts will not line up. You could easily just redo it or just have one custom made based off of that image.

good luck!

I'm just curious why the bolts wont line up? Isn't it technically suppose to be the same chassis?

That's what I thought too but I remember Jason Demello (Demello Offroad) telling me that the bolt pattern wasn't the same for the 2005 Tacoma and the 2003 4runner. This was years ago so I could be wrong. I'd double check anyway though before making any purchases.

Lance. I actually got in touch with the fabricator at N-fab and sent him 10 pictures of just my front end. He is going to take a look at it and see if it will work or he may try and fab an adapter piece to sell with it. If it just needs to be modded slightly i will purchase it and do a post on how to mod it and what i did. I'm hoping everything works out. I will keep you posted on what he says about it and the pics i sent to him.

cool deal!

Just note that it's the 3 bolts on the front frame plate that doesn't match the bolt pattern for the 4runner - tacoma. The location of the front frame plates are the same. Hope that helps.

Note form N-Fab:

Thanks for the photos- they were very useful. We can’t guarantee that it will work with no modifications only because we haven’t tested the part ourselves, however, I have heard that the T052LH pre-runner for the Tacoma has been successfully mounted on the 4Runner without major modifications (if any at all). If you end up with one and you do get it on, I’d love to see a picture.
