So what's the deal with all these new "members" posting lame stuff like that recent one about the particle collider?

The grammar sounds like those email scams from Africa :shake:. Is the site being hacked or something? Do we face any danger if we open the thread to see WTF they are talking about? :screwy:

just spam, the admins can fill us in on the particulars if they want.

just dont click on any of their links, etc. best to be ignored. but it is safe to visit those threads, nothing wrong with the site.

We have been recently plagued with a lot of new members attempting to spam our community. Several hundred attacks have been made within the last two weeks of which only a handful have slipped thru. The visible content they post are definitely harmless but their links on their content may be harmful as it probably goes to either porn or virus filled sites.

Our staff has and will continue to make a stand to ensure these new members do not spam our community. If you encounter any questionable post, please click on the "Report to moderator" link on the bottom right corner of the post and our staff members will be notified immediately.

Erich, if you want to form a posse and go after em, they're either from China or Russia so go at it :D don't forget pix and videos ;)
