Coyote Canyon Thanksgiving Weekend 08

Had a fun weekend with my family, Mikey with his 2 boys, and Zach with his girlfriend Heidi. Since it was my first time out with my whole family, I chose one of my favorite "easy" trails.

It was a pretty uneventful trip, but relaxing and the kids had a blast. My rc crawler saw way more action than our trucks did.

We ran into Andy at Sheeps canyon and he hooked us up with the best camping spot in the area :thumbup:

On the way back we hit a whole bunch of Turkey weekend desert rat traffic.

Glad I could help..........that's probably one of my fav. camping spots in the desert. The aqua definately helps and you kinda forget your in the desert. I just wished they hadn't made the rock gardens even easier then they were. Guess I can take the '95 with trailer in tow for the fam. trip.

Can't wait to wheel with all the boys soon.

Should we try to get an overnighter in before SUPER??? Like maybe the weekend of the 20th - of course the fact that I turn 40 on the 21st has nothing to do with wanted to get out and about.

It was a great weekend camping/wheeling trip. That is now one of my favorite places in Anza Borrego. I'm definitly going back there for some more hiking and exploring.
It was really fun having all the little kiddos running around. I was surprised at what good climbers Mikey's little one's are. Even little Mckenna with her cast on was climbing right along with the boys.
