I don't think many respect how hard and costly it is to keep a shop, not a internet blow out garage pile, but a full on shop, open and productive.
There is very little cash in the custom or high end pure Toyota market, especially in one off settings.
ORS has done some great work, given me many personal memories, brought me to Colorado, in part, and started me on my employment trail of great places.
Notice the e-mail mentions closing shop doors and keep an eye out for product and other sources.
I wish Mike and the crew good luck in whatever the next endeavor is.

That's a bummer.
Running a shop is extremely expensive, I feel for them. I hope they can get things back together some day.

*Well...it's now publicly official: (**Mod Note: Quote Embed Disabled to view the post more clearly in our grey background. Text was white, in qoutes it wouldn't show well.)
From ORS's Home Page Tonight..
**CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT
12-1-08
As of 12-18-08 the Off Road Solutions facility, located at 6340 W. 56th Ave. #10 in Arvada Colorado, will be closed permanently. Through the 18th, business will continue as usual and we will complete every service job and deliver every parts order. After the 18th this website will remain online for access to technical information. Also, please periodically check the website as some of ORS’s unique product lines will soon be available through another outlet. This development will be announced on this website.
Most ORS parts will still be available online and from our business location until December 18th. Naturally, many of these will be on sale as we must liquidate some inventory. Please browse the website for any parts that may be of interest, they will still be found in their usual location. If a part has been removed, it is no longer available. Also, look at our Specials section (http://offroadsolutions.com/specials.html) for new and used parts, otherwise not found on the site, at clearance prices.
Again, please continue to periodically check this website as there will soon be additional information regarding the purchase of selected ORS parts through another outlet.
All products available while supplies last.

BentUp and ORS are probably not going to be the only Toyota specialty fab-shops to get burned by the economic downturn. Unfortunate indeed.
