Apparently there was a 5.5 quake just East of Ludlow, California about 20 min. ago. I was sitting here at the desk and everything (including the floor) shifted slightly.
I know you SoCal folks get to deal with that a lot...but it still makes my stomach tighten just a little! Another reason I'm glad I live in AZ... :yikes:

Didn't feel anything but here's some stats on that earthquake:

Looks like a pretty good one followed by 4-5 2+ aftershocks!

A sizable one that scale would definitely shake up a lot of peeps here regardless of how accustomed we are. earthquakes are always scary!

Yeah, I went ahead and reported it. I think I was the first one to report outside of CA. :D
Earthquakes definitely are not high on my "things I enjoy" list.
Hi CJ, Glad everything is OK.
It's definitely a strange feeling.

How do you even report an earthquake? 1-800-earth-quake?
I thought people just rode them out.

Yeah, I've been through a couple before, but it's always a bit unsettling.
By the way...I was driving past Sleeping Princess the other day, and I distinctly heard it call out for you to come back and wheel... :D

I think I heard it too, I'd love to hit up that area again. Maybe you can talk Marc P into coming out too. With gas so cheap it's almost weekendable these days.

I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around
Oh, baby, when I see your face
Mellow as the month of May
Oh, darling, I can't stand it
When you look at me that way
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
I feel my heart start to trembling
Whenever you're around
Oh, darling, when you're near me
And you tenderly call my name
I know that my emotions
Are something that I just can't tame
I've just got to have you, baby
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, tumbling down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, tumbling down
I just lose control
Down to my very soul
I get hot and cold all over
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down
Tumbling down
Tumbling down
Tumbling down
Tumbling down

That would be awesome. Maybe we can plan for something in Jan or Feb? I'd love to do Sleeping Princess, and maybe a little bit of mine exploration. Last time Mark was out, we did some exploratory type stuff, and it was a blast.
CJ, I'm definitely up for that, we love to explore. Jan or Feb sounds good we only have a few weekends planned right now. Marc?
