i looked around on the net and i cant seem to find any ready made ones for the areas ive been so im going to begin making them. its pretty easy with a gps unit to save where you have been or you can just do them freehand in google earth like i did today using this tutorial:

here are some from gpxechange.com. the lockwood/miller trail looks right from what i remember but ill put up a few trails that ive never been on. if someone knows these trails and the path looks wrong let me know please

and i almost forgot my favorite kmz file. this is the one that got me into wheeling. its location pins for most of the mines in cali. ive had alot of fun visiting these places.

a user has been busey uploading some high quality google earth pathes of alot of the socal trails. that place is a great resource for researching trails and now with the google earth pathes...its one stop shopping. check it out and please think about adding to it if you see things that are needed.

went to go see if anything new was there today and it unfortunately the nicer ones are now only available for purchase. the guy is charging around 3 dollars per kmz file. there quite nice but guy is already a plane and boat owner....he dosnt need the money lol
