Hey gang...

Just thought I'd let you guys know that Chels and I are heading to Phoenix this morning for our youngest son Phineas' first (and prayerfully, only) surgery on his kidney (Surgery's tomorrow, we hope to have him home by Saturday). He was born with a blockage between the left kidney and the bladder, and they are going to try to remove the blockage. There are some possible complications that I won't go into, but if you guys would be thinking and praying for him, I would be way blessed. I'll follow up once we get back, or if I can get service, I'll try to log in while we're there.

Thanks guys and gals!

You got it brother. Wish we could be here for you guys but we'll be out of town at a wedding (Seattle). May the Lord protect him, heal him, and give strength to the entire family.

You have my number (I think) - let me know if you need anything.

Well, he's out of surgery, and it went great, according to the surgeon. He was able to take care of the blockage, and so now, it's just a matter of watching it to see how everything heals. I sure appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers!

Well, mama and Phin made it through the night. These little guys amaze me with their resiliance! He'll be heading home tomorrow, and then we'll come back in a month so they can remove the stint that helps everything drain right now. Up to this point, everything has been textbook. Thanks again for everyone's thoughts and prayers!

Well, Phin and mama (and g-ma) are on their way home. I came home yesterday to get Pierce (our oldest). WOO HOO! From what the doctors can tell up to this point, everything seems to be "flowing" well... We'll be back up there in a month, so the doctors will be able to really tell at that point what's going on...
