Excellent! I need to replace the rubber switch boot on one of mine.

Thanks for the post!

I've done this a couple of times. I didn't want to send mine to Mag because it was one of these.

DUDE! Those are expensive as hell (for a flashlight) - but thanks for the links, it opened my eyes to a whole new bunch of "cheap" projects I can do in the next few weeks - everything from brighter (http://www.vtunderground.com/bonus/magmod.htm) light (another link (http://flashlightnews.net/forum/index.php?topic=810.0)<- this one has good beam pics) to turning it into a burning laser (http://www.diylife.com/2007/08/16/mag-lite-burning-laser-mod/)

I got that flashlight a couple of years ago because I had some money burning a hole in my pocket. I think it was actually on sale.

It's a cool light and super bright. I was going to make an LED one but good parts are usually hard to come by. A lot of the switches, heat sinks and reflectors are hand made or made in small quanities. If you can find one it might be used or really expensive.

I think my next light will be a P7 fired mag.

Lots of light, LED and rechargeable.
