1989 Toyota FJ-62 Land Crusier (http://www.sonoransteel.com/cruiser.html)

1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-62: Currently 225,000 Miles
For Sale: $15,500 FIRM, who I sell it to is more important than how much I get.
E-Mail: steve@sonoransteel.com

This truck has been in Phoenix, Arizona since it was brand new. Bought at Camelback Toyota in 1989. I am the second owner. There is no rust on this vehicle what so ever. Frame is as clean as it was the day it came off the boat and the body is all original and not a speck of rust.

This is a close as you can get to going back to 1989 and buying one new.

I am putting the vehicle up for sale as it is my wife’s truck. She is not a wheeler and now has a nice turbo charged Volvo. It would have been nice if she liked wheeling but she does not. If it does not sell, we’ll keep it. I have no pressure to sell it and do not mind keeping it for a long time to come. It’s only going to get more valuable.

Off-Road History:
This is my wife’s truck. I thought she might like wheeling, but like most women, she does not. This vehicle has seen very little trail use. Here is its entire history, in order:

1. Lake Pleasant to Crown King (Arizona 3/5, easy run)
2. Coke Ovens (Arizona 2.5/5, easy run)
3. Tip Top Loop (Arizona 3/5, easy run)
4. Hells Revenge (Moab, 3/5, easy run)
5. Golden Crack (Moab, 3/5, easy run)
6. Sunflower Mine (Arizona 3/5, easy run)

My 1999 4Runner with the Dana 44 front axle conversion is the Trail Beast. Our FJ-62 is truly a pavement pounder.
