My Friend Upgraded his Air Horn Kit to a Horn Blaster 500.00 Kit so i reeped the benefits and got his $300.00 Horns. I want to mount them under my hood in the engine compartment some where. I was wondering if anyone has done this. I need room for a ViAir Compressor and 2 Gallon Air Tank. Any suggestions or pictures of what other people have done. The horns will be easy to mount just need to find out where to mount the tank. Thanks. Pics can be provided of the tank and setup if needed.

I've got a 3rd gen 4runner and found that there is little room underneath for something like a 2 gallon tank, I know because I bought one and it's sitting in my attic. I ended up getting a 0.5 gallon tank from Viair and mounting it near the spare tire. I can fit another but haven't gotten around to buying it yet. I'll try to remember to take some pictures, don't have any right now. My compressor is a engine driven York that required moving stuff around under the hood to fit it.

They're train horns. Zip tie them to the roof rack and go to town. There is an FJ in town that has about every accessory you could buy for it slapped on. In the expedition rack is a hotdog tank held in with ratchet straps and a bright yellow curly hose. I'm not sure if the compressor is up there but I've seen that before.

Here, it's the Impact9 truck with the football helmet bumper.

Worked awesome, I loved it when people ran a red light, talk about scared
I will mount them on the 04 soon

Those are gonna be fun.

My old boss had actual diesel train horns on his Peterbuilt service truck, these things were cast aluminum and huge.
Once when he was in Vegas, right where train tracks cross near the strip, he let out a lout blast from the horns and scattered the crowd of people who were crossing the tracks just at that moment.

I love air horns, the old flatbed I drove the other day had some-nothing like a big old peterbuilt..

Some guy cut us off and the owner of the truck who was riding with me reached over and jabbed the horns. The guy who cut us off dropped the phone from his hands and puleld over.. lol.

you should see when HS kids are trying to act all cool, walking in the middle of the street, and turn looking at me coming down the street, but dont get out of the way, so when I get right next to them, I just lay on the horns, they take off running  they dont seem so tuff running away like scared little girls. :D
I sooo need to get them hooked up on the 04

Go to YouTube and search under Ferry Horn and Train Horn. There are a couple of videos of guys driving around making people jump.
You have to be careful with the horns around train tracks. I think it's a federal offense using them unwarranted around there. There was a story on the Kilby site about that awhile back.
